MR. GARDNER'S CAMPAIGN

Salient points in an address by Mr. P. R. Gardner, Independent candidate for the Waitemata seat, in the King's Theatre, Northcote. last night, were advocacy of the abolition of the 40-hour week in essential war industries and the provision of better facilities for the rehabilitation of returned soldiers.
