ENEMY MINE EXPLODES
TWO NAVAL RATINGS KILLED Rec. 11.30 a.m. SYDNEY, this day. The Minister for the Navy,.Mr. W. M. Hughes, announced that an enemy mine was brought ashore at a South Australian port* yesterday and, during the process of demolition, a premature explosion occurred, killing two naval ratings.
