Chandler—Hamilton.—The engagement is announced between Sergeant Laurence Clifford Chandler, N Z T S only son of Mr. and Mrs. G ' T Chandler, of 38. Wyngate Street Avondale, and Margaret Elizabeth' youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs! A. W. Hamilton, of 15, Beatty Street Otahuhu.
CHILDREN'S CLOTHING (0.C.) HAMILTON, Monday. Ten boxes of new children's clothing which were exhibited at the Waikato Winter Show last month have been dispatched to England for distribution. They have been valued for insurance purposes at £1500 The total consignment under the Ladv Galway Guild sent this week from Hamilton comprises 36 cases. Ali the 150 cases forwarded from Hamilton since the outbreak of war have reached their destination.
