PUPILS' WAR EFFORT
By means of tennis tournaments and small entertainments organised among themselves, the pupils of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Remuera, have raised £35 for patriotic purposes. The effort was in response to the appeal made by the Auckland Metropolitan Patriotic Committee through the Education Department. A course in home nursing has also been successfully completed by the older girls at the convent.
