DELIVERY QUESTION

DISCUSSED WITH MINISTER

An earlier starting time for delivery of milk in Auckland was discussed this morning, when representatives of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council, the Auckland Employers' Association, the Auckland Milk Roundsmen's Union, and Auckland Metropolitan Retail Milk Vendors' Association, met the Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb. The present starting time of delivery is 3 a.m. After the meeting was held. Mr. Webb stated that there had been general discussion on the subject. He said that the matter had previously been referred to him and as a solution had not been reached he had asked representatives of the interests concerned to meet hirr Finality was not reached as a result of the meeting this morning, and he would give further consideration to the matter.
