U.S.A. AND PORTUGAL
ASSURANCES GIVEN Rec. 2 p.m. WASHINGTON. July 13. Dr. Joas Antonio Dibianchl, Portuguese Minister to the United States, said that the Portuguese Government had received definite assurances from the United States that it had no intention of moving against the Azores, Cape Verde or any other of Portugal's possessions.
