The Rome radio says the Hungarians have broken the Russian resistance on the River Zbruch and, continuing their advance, have also occupied Kamenets Podolsk.
There is an unconfirmed report that the Germans have reached Narwa, about 100 miles west of Leningrad.
"War is Only Beginning"
The Berlin news agency stated yesterday: "Heavy rains in the past few days increased the difficulty of the terrain in the southern sector of the eastern front, but German troops made a considerable advance in this sector on Friday and repulsed Soviet tanks and infantry formations, which put up a hard fight. In the northern sector shock troops have been storming the fortifications of the Stalin Line."
The Moscow radio announced on Saturday that after halting the German panzer attack the Russian armies had begun counter-offen-sives. The Deputy-Commissar for Foreign Affairs, M. Lozovsky, declared: "The war is only now beginning."
The Ankara radio reports that 8,000,000 newly-mobilised Russian troops are moving to the front to meet the next big German offensive.
According to a Moscow communique guerilla detachments behind the German lines are incessantly attacking communications, destroying munitions and fuel trains, and exterminating whole groups and units of German troops.
