NATIONAL PARTY
WELLINGTON W. CHOICE (0.C.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. The selection is announced of Mr. R. A. Wright as the official National party candidate for the Wellington West electorate, formerly Wellington Suburbs. Mr. Wright is a well-known former member of Parliament and Minister of the Crown, and he has also had a long record of local body administration in Wellington. lie was returned to the Wellington City Council in May of this year at the top of the poll. At the last general election he was defeated for the Wellington West seat by Mrs. C. Stewart (Labour).
