CROSSING SMASH

PORTER'S AVENUE, MT. EDEN Slight abrasions and shock were suffered by Mr. Alfred Walter Young at eight o'clock this morning when the light sedan motor car he was driving came into collision with a Swanson to Auckland passenger train at Porter's Avenue crossing, Mt. Eden. The train was slowing up at the time prior to entering the Mt. Eden station. Mr. Young' was able to proceed to his home. The car was badly damaged.
