CITY MISSION

ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL

In order to mark the twenty-first anniversary of the founding of the Auckland City Mission by the Rev. Jasper Calder. a festival was held at the Epiphany Church, Karangahnpi! Road, yesterday. Biehop \V. J. Sinipkin was the celebrant at Holy Communion in the morning, and a recital was {riven in the evening by the City Mission Choir. The history of. the mission was traced by a' serins of' recorded plays, and mention was made of the building of the children , !) health camp at: Onercwj, the foundation of the Whitney - dale Home, and the lar;;e amount of social work carried out in the city.
