LESSONS FROM CRETE N.Z. OFFICER'S ADVICE SOUGHT LONDON, June 12. It is believed that Brigadier L. M. I !3f= ' AI.C., is the New Zealand officer referred to by Mr. Churchill in the House of Commons on Tuesday as being or, his way to England to advise on how the lessons c-f Crete might be applied to the defence of Britain. Brigadier Inglis arrived in England on Wednesday. In civil life Brigadier Inglis is a barrister and solicitor in partnership with his father in Timaru. He served in the last war with the MachineGun Corps and continued active interest and service in the territorials after the war right up to the outbreak of the present conflict. He was with the first contingent of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. to leave the Dominion.
