DEMONSTRATION OX SUNDAY
Coinciding with a visit to Auckland by Sir Donald McGavin, medical director for the Emergencv Precautions Scheme in New Zealand a practical demonstration of how the medical branch of the organisation would react should the necessity arise will be given in Auckland on Sunday morning, it is planned to make the demonstration as realistic as possible consistent efliciencv. Supposedly wounded and gassed people will be picked up at the Victoria Park pavilion, after which thev will be taken to the decontamination station at the Auckland City Council s destructor. Following that the patients will be taken to the emergency hospital at the Community Sunshine School in Nelson Street for treatment.
