A LONG, LONG WAY

The other day a letter arrived for Peter Pan from the Gold Coast, Africa. Isn't that a long way to come? It had been posted two months previously, and was from Matthew Aggrey, to whom Peter hopes lots of you will write. You will find his address in the Pen-friend column. The amazing thing was that all the address the letter bore was: "Peter Pan, Auckland, C.1," and yet it came straight to its destination without any trips to foreign post offices, such as insufficiently addressed letters usually have. Who would like to have the geographical knowledge of a postal official? Wouldn't it be handy at exam, time?
