ROXY—TI VOL I One of the most hilarious of the famous Mux Brothers' series of films. "Room Service.*' which is to <onvmen.e showing at the Roxy and Tivoli Theatres to-day. is a production whioh has already left a large proportion of Auckland theatregoers holding their aching ribs and only stopping themselves with difficulty from rolling into the aisle during a previous season. Its return will .be we'eomed t>y those who have seen it. and to those who have not it will be a treat in store. The incom.para.ble trio this time are at large in a spacious hotel and their efforts to eater for the comfort of the guests have to .be seen to be 'believeil. The second attraction. '"Alexander Bell." has also come to ,l>e known as a mort suc- . cessful film, portraying as it does the life and struggle for recognition of the famous American inventor. Playing in the title role with a polished ease is handsome Don Amec-he. -who receives solid support from Loretta Young and Henry Fonda. The supporting programme includes a colour cartoon aivl a musical revue.
