AUCKLANDER THOUGHT DEAD
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following air casualties were announced to-day:—
Turner, Herbert Owen (Sergeant), R.N.Z.A.F.. killed on air operations. Mrs. B. Turner, Christchurch (mother). ('rush, Richard Hope (Pilot Officer). R.A.F.. previously reported missing, now reclassified missing, believed killed in action. Mr. R. E. H. Crush, Auckland (father).
Humill, Hanley (Sergt.). R.N.Z.A.F previously reported missing death now confirmed. Mr. P. Hamill, Masterton (father).
