"No,* they said, "vou can't leave ft even with parking lights—that's worae— you must shift it off the road.* Sa, I parked on the footpath—and fbej» were satisfied! I spent the test m\ the evening in a fever of andetv lest the local traffic inspector shonM. drift along and 3eave a ticket for parking on the footpath. May these, few words be interpreted not as a, complaint but as a sincere desire ta ; know more of the motorist's obligations under the blackest regulations. Whilst I have no desire to critioa the wardens concerned—they-woe obviouslv carrving out their dines in all good faith—it is obvions fiat; there is yet much to be done to effect, a really satisfactory working of tne, scheme. 1 am. and proud to he. a member of the E.F-S- E.P.S.O. and ».
