PROVISION' FOR REHEARING (P.AJ WELLINGTON, this day. The Director of National Service, Mr. J. S. Hunter, stated 3 T esterday that under amendments to the National Service Regulations. an appellant who appealed against service on the grounds of conscientious objection, and whose appeal had been heard and not allowed, may apply for a rehearing. Applications for such rehearings should be made and posted not later than May 27. The provision applies only to conscientious objectors' appeals which have actually been heard and disallowed before Mry 4.
