QUIET MORNING AT TAKANINI
Excellent efforts by Mysito, Ai-okur, Tcllsom, Cornish and Airport, were the features of the work at Taka.iini this morning, the inside grass track with the poles 10ft out being in first>clasß order. Tellsom (Hooton) defeated Hunting Bee (McFarlane) by two lengths at the end ot seven furlongs in 1.30, the first half-mile being run in 50 3-ss. Mysito (McMinn) and Arvakur (Smith) were, both going well at the end of five furlongs in 1.2 3-5. Lovaals (McMinn) defeating Te Kawiti (Jackson) over a mile in 1.44 3-ss. the first half-mile in 51 3-5s Cornish (Jackson) was better than Uamos (Horne) over six furlongs in 1 16 3-y, the last half-mile taking 525. \ir- ?£ rt , 53 ) and Princess Venus (Frebes) both shaped well over half a mile in 51s, Nordic Song (Petley) finishing three lengths in front of Gay Movie (Burgess) in 525, Foxola (Hooton) running a similar distance comfortably in 52 3-ss, while Poker Dice (Coleman) and Sea Eaglet (McNeil) accomplished their task in 535.
