OBITUARY

MRS. LOUISA J. EMMOTT. The death occurred yesterday at the Auckland Infirmary of Mrs. Louisa Jane Emmott at the age of 92. She was born in Oxfordshire, England, and married Mr. Phillip Rickman Emmott, a Government engineer, in Ceylon, where she lived for seven or eight years. Returning to England, Mrs. Emmott resided for a time in Dorsetshire, and when her husband died 17 years ago she came to New Zealand to join a daughter. For 10 years she lived in Paeroa, and then moved to Auckland. Mrs. Emmott never had any serious illnesses, and retained "all her faculties until she died. She is survived by two daughters. There are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
