GUNNER'S COLLAPSE
While playing football at the Devonport Domain yesterday afternoon, a soldier engaged on guard duty suddenly collapsed and died. He was Gunner Trevor Leonard Williams, aged 20, son of Mr. A. L. Williams, of Tutamoe, North Auckland. Dr. C. M. Rout, of Devonport, was called, but Gunner Williams died before his arrival. An inquest was opened to-day.
