British sq ientists, in collaboration with scientists in Canada and the United Statjes. have Invented a new radio weapqai for use against day and night air raiders. Details of, the invention are secret, but it can b<s revealed that it involves the use of many small radio sets which will 'be able to detect hostile planes and direct anti-aircraft fire against them with deadly precision. Britain lj as trained 1000 radio technicians to operate the weapon. An Air Ministry communique says enemy activity last night was on a small scale ,and was mainly directed against the south-east of England. There was a small number of casualties at one place in South Wales, and at another place in East Anglia.
