TRAINING FOR OFFICERS Rec. 9.30 a.m. RUGBY. May 21. Exchanging uniforms for overalls. Canadian brigadiers and colonels in Britain have been undergoing an intensive three days' course in the practical side of maintenance and repair of mechanical transport. The object of the course was to give them a practical understanding of mechanical problems and to ensure common policy in the maintenance and inspection of motor transport. Lectures were given on their own responsibilities for equipment and the responsibilities of all section?, down to lorry drive; s and dispatch riders. The officers were given. with the aid of a stripped chassis, demonstrations of the detailed mechanism of various types oi vehicle?.
