FORT STREET. 22 RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL. gBJ COLOURFUL LEAGUE PRESS COMMENT— "N.Z. HERALD":— There were few dull moments at Carlsw Park on Saturday, when three matches in the Auckland senior Rugby League cham-
pionship were played before a large attendance of spectators. Sparkling back play featured all the games, there being many instances of high-class movements, attack and counter-attack being so swiftly and skilfully staged that the territorial advantage was constantly fluctuating. "AUCKLAND STAR":— Colourful League. Bright and open football was played at Carlaw Park. In early match CITY played with fine team understanding. In a fast and open match CITY proved superior to MOUNT ALBERT. The play was of an open nature and marked by free scoring. TWO GREAT GAMES FOR SATURDAY. 1.30 P.M. .""""-■■ NORTH SHORE v.
