MOTOR CYCLIST'S END

COLLISION WITH CATTLE

When a motor cycle ran into a herd of cattle on the Great South Road at Westfield early this morning. the rider of the motor cycle was killed. The victim was:— Mr. Roy Mcrvyn Mills, single, aged 21, of 13, Sherwood Avenue, Grey Lynn, employed as a cleaner at the Westfield freezing works. There was a thick fog at the time of the accident. Mr. Mills was killed almost instantaneously. An inquest was opened in Auckland this morning and adjourned.
