NORTH SHORE SERVICE
"VERY LIVE SUBJECT" Provision of hospital facilities on the North Shore was urged in a letter which the Hospital Board received last evening from the Birkenhead Borough Council, which asked that tho board give the proposal careful and favourable consideration. Mr. W. K. Howitt said it was a very live subject on the North Shore. He hoped that when a decision was made a proper hospital would be provided, one which would cater for maternity cases. The letter was received.
