Pacing Power has flow won two chieeice in the Timaru Futurity Stake* and the Uamaru Juvenile Stakes, and the easy manner of 'hie vietoiies has installed him a very warm favourite for t'he Xew Zealand Sapling Stakes, to be ran at Ashburton later in the month. Pacing Power ie a well-grown coir and, one of the contented kind, he will not do any more than his driver aeke of him. This is a characteristic of many good raeehorees. -R. B. Berry has him in tine feftle, and in Sandiways he may have a worthy second string for other classic events. Thia gelding ie one of the few of Sandydale'is stock racing, and though he showe lack of experience and a tendency to pull, he is a fine type and posseesee speed above the average.
