NO SALUTE.

The women officers of the W.A.A.F. will no longer be saluted by the opposite sex. It is an accepted fact, laid down in King's Regulations that one does not salute the individual, but salutes the uniform of the King. The Air Ministry has now cancelled the order which required airmen to salute members of the W.A.A.F., and it is news to me, say a writer in the "Queen," to learn that officers of the armed Forces, and by that I mean the men. hold the King's Commission, whereas women officers do not.
