ANTI-WAR RESOLUTION
CARPENTERS' RETRACTION
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Thursday
By 232 votes to 96, a special meeting of the Weliington Carpenters and Joiners' Union tonight dissociated itself from the anti-war resolution carried at a meeting of the union at which there was an attendance of 10 members. By 153 votes to 96 the meeting agreed to remove from office those responsible for the resolution.
