Mr. J. Stanton has returned from the South. Mr. E. A. Blundell. of Wellington, who has been visiting Auckland, win leave for Wellington by train tonight. Mr. A. D. Paterson arrived from Ch:#stchureh jestcrday, and is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. R. M. Barker, secretary of the New Zealand Master Grocers' Feneration. left for the South last night Mr. Andrew I. N. Deoki. law student at Auckland, was admitted as a solicitor to the Supremo Court oi New Zealand to-day by Mr. Justice Fair, on the motion of Mr. R- L - Ziman. Mr. Dcoki intends to practise in Fiji. ! Lieutenant-Colonel V. G. Jervis, N.Z.S.C., deputy-Adjutant-General. has been appointed to act as adju-tant-general second member of tne Army Board, in addition to his present duties, during the absence from New Zealand of Colonel A. •&• Convay, 0.8.E.. N.Z.S.C. Paymaster-Lieutenant Commander G. M. Ashby arrived at Auckland on the Limited express this morning. Mr. G. K. Hansard will leave for the South to-night. Mr. J. n. Rendell will travel to Wellington by tram to-night. Commander J. P. Olding. naval adviser in New Zealand to the I'nitcd S';.;r •■•" will leave for Weliingto:! !>:• train to-night.
