AUCKLAND CLUB. The executive of the Auckland Amateur AthlelK and Cycle Club Is calling a meeting for ncx* Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.. In the clubrooms. of all member? and others interested In the patriotic and winter activities of the club. Owinc to enlistments the membership roll has been greatlv depleted, but many old members and the juniors Mill assist the club to carry on. and the usual winter competitions will be entered upon next Saturday. Everendeavour will be made during the winter to assist patriotic activities. A very successful club evening was held on Monday to present the Doreen and IVrnicc Lumiev Challenge Poin's Cup. Miss E. Q. Short won the trophy last season, and will hold i' until September 1. when Miss C. G. Knight will take it for a year. A miniature cup is provided each season In the absence of Miss Short the cud was formally presented to Miss Knight by the president.
