NEW CLUBROOM FOR HUNTLY LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS.
The Huntly League Football Club's new clubroom, erected at Davies' Park, Huntly, was officially opened in the presence of a large gathering of memhere, supporters and friends. The president of the cluib, Mr. E. Sutherland, presided and welcomed the visitors. Messrs. A. Harlock and W. C. Davies (president and secretary of the South Auckland Rugby Lea(gue), M. Sherlock (Xgaruawahia Clu'b), R. Avery (United Cluib) and G. Scurr (Huntly South Club) were present.
Speeches were made by Messrs A. Harlock, W. C Davies and R. Avery, who congratulated the club on its enterprise. On behalf of the South Auckland Rugby League Mr. \V. C. Bavies presented an illuminated address to the Huntly Club as a token of appreciation of the valuable services rendered by various members of the club, whose names appeared on the address. Mr. R. Avery, on behalf of t-he United Club, presented a wall mirror for the new clubrocuiu . .. _
