EASTER CAMP.
ST. JOHN CADET NURSES.
A successful camp for cadet nurses of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was held at the St. John . Ambulance Hall, Takapuna, from Thursday night until Monday night. Thirty-four girls and four officers attended, the senior girl ■being Miss M. Goldstein.
The programme for each day included physical drill, in the mornings, followed by lectures. Some instructive films were shown and a six-mile hike and playreadings were other enjoyable features. On Sunday a church parade was held, Mrs, E. McDowell making an inspection of the cadets. They were joined by the Takapuna nursing division under Sirs. C. W. Parr.
In' the afternoon the girls "were entertained "to afternoon tea at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Parr, when Mrs. Parr gave a talk on China, and games were played.
Examinations on their studies and the practical work done were held on Monday and the afternoon was taken up with games before the girls returned.
