There were three admissions to the

Auckland Hospital and two people wei treated at the casualty department

Concussion «as suffered by Moil's; McMullin. of IS!>, Ponsmiby Road, wlici. she fell from a traincar at the intersection of Wellcsley and Hobson Street, last night. She was admitted to the Auckland Hospital in a serious condition which had improved slightly to-day. A three-year-old boy, Norman McLeod. son of Mr. W. S. McLeod, of 10. Cutfield Road, New Plymouth, received head injuries when he fell from a moving motor car when visiting Auckland late on Saturday afternoon. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital in a fairlv serious condition.

Shock and abrasions were suffered byi two of the occupants of a small motor car which overturned on the main highway at Maramarua, near Pokeno. late on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. A. Rose, of Winstone's Road. Mount Roskill. and Mrs. T. Nelson, of Beagle Avenue, Owairaka. were taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance for treatment in the casualty department. The driver. Mr. Rose, and another passenger, Mr. Nelson, were uninjured. When a cup of tea was ujiset over an infant. Rodney Allan Duncan, son of Mr. A. G. Duncan, of 4, Wallath Road, New Plymouth, yesterday, when the family was visiting Auckland, he received burns to his body and was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, but his condition was not serious.

When three wild horses jumped across the main highway from Taupo to Auckland in front of a truck driven by Mr. E. Goodall the vehicle struck one of the animals. The driver suffered shock and had to receive medical attention and the truck was considerably damaged. This was the fourth accident of the kind in the last 12 mogtjia.
