TAKAPUNA MAYORALTY.
SECOND NOMINATION.
The sitting Mayor of Takapuna, Mr. J. Guiniven, will be opposed in the forthcoming municipal election by Captain Robert White of Prospect Terrace, Takapuna. Captain White agreed to be a candidate on the request of a representative deputation led by Mr. A. Harris and including sitting councillors. His nomination has been unanimously endorsed bv the executive of the Takapuna Citizens' Progressive Association, which will also nominate candidates, representing each district of the borough, for all the council seats.
