According to information obtained bv the correspondent of the "Auckland Star, tlie romance began tm horseback and «as climaxed by a Lochinvar flour-i-h when the two screen luminaries eloped to Las \ egas and took their marriage vows. The young couple met while riding horseback along Los Angeles bridle paths when Royce assisted the Xew Zealand actress in regaining control of ait illtempered horse. Roy re. is very-popular among the screen luminaries of Hollv- \\ ood and has appeared in recent motion pictures portraying villainous characters.
Miss Do \\ erner is 2(1 years of age and was educated in Peking. China, where her father is a builder of racintr boats aiul yachts.
