FRESH WATER CHAMPIONS. i SUCCESS OF AUCKLAND BOATS. (Special Reporter.) ROTORUA. this day. The concluding ruccs of the New Zealand fresh water yachting championships were held on I.ake Rolorua yesierdav. The weather was fine, with a very fresh sou-west wind. Auckland boats won the titles in the 18-foot and Frostbite classes, and also secured prizes in all but the Idle A lon 2 class. Results: — M. Trailer Trophy Race.—'This started at 10.40 a.m.. 28 visiting boats competing. Waiiti *\nd Nsaire. of Hamilton, led all the way. Waii:.i finishing 2m 45s ahead of Nffaire. with Lightning (Auckland). Cm later. Opah (Opotiki) and Endeavour (Auckland) were next. On handicap Endeavour was placed first. Dorothy second, anc Vrlcrie third. 10-looters.-This v.fs a very close race betweer G. McKcowp.'s Kr.ni «Auckland» and Ki va iHoLcvun'!. Karu won bv « small nursrin. H-footcrs.—This litce was won by N.
