"Dictator" And "G.W.T.W." For Early Release

"TWO eagerly-awaited pictures are due for early release in the city. "The Great Dictator," starring Charlie Chaplin, will follow the Easter showing of "The Thief of Bagdad," another United Artists release at the Plaza. "Gone With the Wind" (Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Leslie Howard, Olivia de Havilland) will come to St. James' Theatre on May 2. "Kitty Fovle," for her presentation of the name character in which Ginger Rogers won the 1940 Academy Award, comes to the Civic on May 2 also. "Philadelphia Story," which gained James Stewart an Oscar, will be presented in the near future, but has not yet been definitely booked.
