GERMANS ON BARGES.

THOUSANDS OF BODIES.

Mention of an attempt by German troops to invade England was made today by a New Zealand soldier invalided back to the Dominion from Great Britain. The soldier stated that the invading troops 011 barges were battered by the Royal Air Force and 'by battleships and destroyers, with the result that many thousands of bodies were washed up on the English coast alone.

"Believe nie, the Germans have no chance in the world of invading England," he declared. "If you had seen the defences that we have seen and the precautions taken then you would be of the same opinion."
