A man volunteers and i- accepted. goes overseas, returnslcccives a badge, or shall wo MT * medal f<>r serv ices rendered, etc. Now what of tin- man v.ho volunteers- 1S accejited. serve- hi- country faitlfull?* and after, -ay. -even month?, takes and is medically boarded? What does he get t -how that he has served W the militarv forces? Nothing but 1 pay book aii.l .litharge }.apers: hot e*n he wear tlic-e in his buttonhole. 'jj® 1 one of these latter, and often since I* f been discharged our wonderful women folk have a-ked me "why does not a st man like yon join r armv. or are von alraid? 1 do" about it DISCHARGED.
