LARGE FOOTWEAR OUTPUT
I . CANADA'S BUST TEAR. OTTAWA. The production of leather footwear in! Canada for the calendar year 1940amounted to 26,261,088 pairs, the largest output ever recorded by the industry. When compared with the 1939 production, the 1940 output shows an increase of pain, or 3 per cent.
