MT. ROSKILL ROAD BOARD.
The fortnightly meeting of the board was held last evening, the chairman, Mr. C. M. McCullough, presiding. Museum Levy.—The board's contribution to the War Memorial levy for the year 1941-1942 is £198. Financial.—The general account is In credit £5187. Health Report.—Thn health Inspector reported that there were no infectious diseases rind the Street Lighting Charges.—The power board Intimated that the charges for street lighting to local bodie3 would be adjusted in proportion to the service given, subject to the provision that where the service Is re-established with shades the charges will remain as at present, modified by any reduction in candle power. Permits.—Building permits to the value of £2045 have been issued during the past fortnighi Fifteen buildings are in course of erection, exclusive of State houses.
