WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to thr "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Aockland Province lo as fir south as Hamilton, Kawhla and Tauranga:— South x) south-east nine!, fresh at first in some exposed positions, otherwise moderate. Weather fair to fine, with moderate temperatures. Seas moderate, with a swell on the cast coast. A cyclone is centred south-east, of the Kertnadec Islands, while an anti-cyclone extends from the west across New Zealand. HAURAKI GULF CONDITION'S. The following report of weather conditions in the Haoraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-west: sea. rouch: weather, fine but cloudy: visibility, good: barometer, steady.
