Papatoctoe having won the Auckland Crlrket Association's senior B championship, with North Shore runner-up. the mntch at Victoria Park on Saturday resolved ItseLf into a contest for third position !n the competition. Eden, with 36 points to 'Varsity's 42. wound up the day in a strong position. If Eden wins outright the club will be coupled with 'Varsity (last season's champion). Scores were:— 'Varsity.—First Innings. 74 (J. Ryan four lor 21. R. Price four for 36). Eden. —First innings, 174 (N. Robson 42. A. Morrison 28). Ray Price's "bag of wickets'* for the season Is now 48. and his brother Jack's 46. The latter, a fast bowler, played for Papatoctoe two years ago when that rlub was bracketed champion with Ponsonby-Balmornl. Ryan, like R. Price, is medium pared, and has accounted for 44 opponents. The trio constitute a formidable attack. North Shore v. Grafton (at Deronport).—North Shore: First innings. 164 <Woolley 61. Rankin 50). Grafton: First innings. 22 (T. Smith Ave lor 11. W. J.
