POSTS FOR OFFICERS. Promotions of officers serving in the New Zealand Military Forces and new appointment* are contained in the. current issue of the, "New Zealand Gazette." Lieutenant G. T. Upton (-9th Infantry, Mixed, Battalion) promoted to captain and remains seconded to the Fiji Defence. Force. Temporary Staff.—Mr. \V. Calderwood. late Imperial Army, to be lieutenant, and is appointed adjutant of the Ist Battalion, New Zealand Scottish Regiment. Territorial Units. North Auckland Mounted Rifles.—Mr. It. R. Webb to be second-lieutenant. Auckland Regiment.—Captain H. F. Prolhcro, 3rd Battalion, to bo major. North Auckland Regiment.—Lieutenant J. Subritzky promoted to captain.
