Much interest has been aroused by the Great Lovante'a claim that he can escape from a securely-nailed packing: case in 13 minuteg without damaging it in any way, and this its the feat which he promisee to perforin to-night. The claim was made in response to a challenge issued by tlhe packing case department of a well-known Auckland finm. Also showing at this theatre is the intensely interesting and timely film "The Incendiary Bomb." which, in a lucid way. explains tin- workings of the "tire bombs" being showered on London to-day, and gives itM-tiil information of the correct and most effective methods of combating them. This weapon needs prompt and efficient measures asuinst it, and these measures should bo widely known.
