LAND BOARD ELECTION.

An election wfll be held on April 23 for the elective time-expired seat on the North Auckland Land Board now occupied by Mr. Thomas O'Carroll, of Maungakaramea. The Commissioner of Crown Lands, Mr. L. J. Poff, announces that Mr. O'Carroll will stand for»reelection, and that two other candidates have been nominated in Mr. A. McL. Wright, of Takahue, and Mr. D. Kitchen, of Kaitaia.
