(P.A.) WELLINGTON*, this day. Because he drove a friend's car to Tauhcrcnikau for the races 011 Xew Year's Day, Otto Kaushaw, aged stated to be a German, was to-day at the Petone Magistrate's Court fined £•"> on a charge of travelling more than 20 miles from his registered place of abode without permission. For having control of a car as an enemy alien without permission he was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
