COLOURFUL FROCKS.
The setting of "lolanthe," the fairy tale of the Gilbert and Sullivan operas, is always attractive and it again charmed the audience at Hie Majesty's Theatre last night. As queen of the fairies, Mies Evelyn Gardiner wore a 'beautiful costume of white and gold. The fairies were all in palest green chiffon with tiny wings, lolanthe, Miss Peggy Shea, having foamy green chiffonover white satin. Mies Viola Wilson, who played the part of Phyllis, ward of the Lord Chancellor, wore a dainty panniered frock of soft Wne and pink. On her head was a "shepherdess" hat in the same tonings. The costumes of the men were also outstanding, particularly the colourful robes of the eoroneted peers. ]
