MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSION.
(0.C.) TAIHAPE, Wednesday. Severe burns were suffered by Mr. Maurice McKinloch, manager of Mr. R. W. Smith's farm in State Farm Road, Taihape, when some blasting powder exploded. The powder wae ignited by some meane not known, and Mr. McKinloch received the full force of the explosion on his face, arme and body. He was admitted to ohepital in a eerious condition, but is now improving.
