There were 33 races (including tli<division of the Robinson Handicap), and the following , were successful on two occasions:—High Star (Grafton and Ponsoriby Hurdles); Route March (Foal Stakes and Royal Stakes); Beau Vite (Auckland Cup and Clifford Plate): CLllas (Queen's Plate and Waitemata Handicap); Bronwen (Railway Handicap and Electric Handicap); Kindergarten (Christmas Handicap and Derby); Orelio (Summer Cup and A.R.C Handicap) ; Pirate King (Newmarket and Bowen Handicap); Olympue (Glasgow and Goodwood Handicap).
This is probably unique in the history of racing in New Zealand.
